The first time I set up this tent, it took well over an hour to finish. Once I got the hang of it, I got it down to less than 30 minutes.

This tent can fit a whopping 5 queen sized mattresses. This space does come at a cost to portability. The tent is considerably large when rolled up. Keep in mind we are talking about a 20′ x 20′ tent.

Choosing a 3-Room Tent

Finding a 3 room tent with screened porch is not easy. Finding a tent with those specific specifications can be hard when there are thousands of tents out there. Here is a list of things you should consider when looking for a tent that meets your specifications.

The first is obviously price. Price is an important factor when buying any tool such as a tent.

You don’t want to buy something cheap and low quality but at the same time you don’t want to overspend on a tent. There is a delicate balance. For a 3 room tent with a screened porch, $300-$400 is the range you should consider.

Less than $300 I’d be concerned about quality, more than $400 I’d check the specs to make sure it’s worth it.

The next factor when choosing a tent is the size of the tent. How big is your average camping party? Do you need a 20′ x 20′ tent or would you be fine with 15′ x 15′?

I typically prefer overestimating the amount of space I’ll need. Having too much space is not a problem but running out is.

The biggest issue you’ll probably run into when picking this tent is the portability.

A 3 room tent with screened porch is going to be big. So make sure you have adequate space to transport a tent that big. It may be tight if you are taking a sedan but if you are taking a van or truck, you’ll be fine.

A very underrated quality of a tent is the setup time. Some tents just take a massive amount of time to set up.

Don’t waste your precious camping hours on setting up a tent. Recently in the camping world, instant setup tents have been introduced. Instant setup tents have allowed up to set up tents that would normally take over 20 minutes to set up in just a few minutes.

This new technology has changed the standard for setting tents up. The two Ozark tents on this list offer instant setup.

Saving the best for last is quality. The quality of a tent is obviously the deciding factor when choosing a tent. But how do you decide quality? Use the previous 4 metrics to decide quality.

If a tent is the right size, it’s easily portable, has easy setup, and at a great price, it’s a strong candidate.

Camping is one of the best escapes you and your family/friends could participate in.

These 3 room tents with screened porches are the best of those specifications. Pick the one that best suits your style and head out into nature!
